Mercy seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to assess and treat adult and geriatric patients under Therapy Leadership, ensuring care aligns with Mercy standards. The role includes supervising patients, rehab technicians, and PT assistants, while adhering to state licensure requirements and BLS certification.
Education must include a current PT license plus a degree such as DPT/MSPT or equivalent, with supervision of staff as part of daily responsibilities.
Under the general supervision of Therapy Leadership and according to departmental policies and procedures regarding referral, standards of treatment, performs objective assessments, as well as comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients. Responsible for direct supervision to patients, indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians. General supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Education: Current State license of Physical Therapy. Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
