Job summary

Qualifications

• Current/Temporary Physical Therapy license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification must be current before independently caring for patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans for adults and geriatric patients.
• Provide direct supervision to patients and supervise rehab technicians and PT assistants as per state practice acts.
• Maintain alignment with Mercy Service Standards and department policies.
• Must be able to push, pull and lift 50 lbs; standing and walking for long periods.

Preferred Experience: Six months to one year of experience is preferred for a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist. Prefer experience with care for adult and geriatric patients.

Physical Requirements

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs regularly.


• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.


• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
