Job summary

Mercy is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide objective assessments and comprehensive treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients under Therapy Leadership. You will supervise rehab technicians and PT assistants, and ensure care aligns with Mercy standards and policies.

Requirements include current PT license, BLS, and 6 months to 1 year of rehab experience; prefer experience with adults and elders; expect on-site work and a supportive, values-driven team at Mercy.

Qualifications

• Current State license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.
• BLS certified.
• Six months to one year rehab PT experience preferred.
• Experience with adult and geriatric patients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and individualized treatment programs for adults and geriatrics.
• Direct supervision of patients; supervise rehab technicians and PT assistants.
• Follow Mercy policies and standards of care.

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
