Job summary

Modena Health is seeking a dedicated Food Allergy Treatment Coordinator to support our OIT program, coordinating between prospective patients, providers, and staff to ensure smooth enrollment and ongoing care.

The role is hybrid, with options to base in La Jolla, Solana Beach, Long Beach, or Torrance. Ideal candidates have strong organizational and communication skills, EMR experience, and a collaborative, patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or related field preferred.
• Experience in a clinical coordinator, sales coordinator, or healthcare admin role preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with families and pediatric patients.
• Experience with EMR systems and healthcare software.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on OIT leads and guide enrollment.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies for the OIT program.
• Schedule initial consultations for potential OIT patients.
• Provide high level customer service and educate prospective patients on enrollment.
• Manage scheduling of pre-OIT visits and updosing appointments with staff.
• Collaborate with billing to explain costs and payment options.
• Assist with IT tasks for the patient-facing OIT app and report issues.
