Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago seeks a Clinical Services Coordinator for the Allergy and Immunology division to streamline scheduling for complex services and support clinical programs including OIT and Food Challenge.

The role partners with division leadership, providers and hospital staff to enhance patient access, optimize workflows and support divisional growth within a teaching hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; four years of administrative experience preferred.
• Excellent leadership, organizational and analytical skills with strong communication.
• Ability to plan, coordinate and work independently with sound judgment.
• Experience in an Academic Medical Center is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop an organized scheduling process for subspecialty patients and teams.
• Serve as primary problem solver for providers and Division Administrator.
• Coordinate new patient referrals and scheduling with referring practices.
• Ensure eligibility, precertification and payer approvals where required.
• Support division events, meetings and communications with leadership.
• Maintain division clinical databases and support research/education activities.
• Assist with content updates for division websites and marketing materials.
