Job summary

City of Lincoln in Kermit, TX is seeking a Multi-Skilled Lease Operator to monitor production, perform maintenance on equipment, and ensure safe operations across multiple wells in a high-volume environment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in oilfield work, strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills, and a valid U.S. driver's license. The role involves field duties, safety compliance, and collaboration with foremen and asset managers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years oilfield experience.
• Lease Operator experience preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of oil and gas production operations.
• High School Grad or GED; some college or technical training preferred.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Gauge production on wells and report gauge readings, downtime and other pertinent well information.
• MUST have experience with high production volume wells with H2S.
• Perform lease maintenance and equipment repairs; trim weeds and clean up; grease pumping units.
• Daily battery and satellite checks; witness LACT proving and pot shakeouts.
• Check wells, leaks, pump sizes, and unit stroke adjustments; analyze and minimize downtime.
• Operate water injection pumps and monitor pressures; shoot fluid levels daily.
• Keep field at correct pressure; oversee pumping unit inspections and safety compliance.
