Job summary

Danos, LLC is seeking a Lease Operator to monitor, optimize, and maintain oil and gas wells in Mentone, Texas. You will ensure peak efficiency and reliability of production equipment while supporting HSE processes.

The role requires experience in oil and gas, strong technical skills, and the ability to work independently and with teams. Responsibilities include daily site monitoring, equipment testing, and regulatory paperwork.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Lease Operator experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid US Driver's License with acceptable driving record required.
• Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test, MVR, agility and fit for duty.
• Physical requirements: able to lift 40 lbs., climb ladders and stairs, wear personal protective equipment, respond to alarms.
• Understanding of environmental and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Non-scheduled callouts outside normal business hours can be expected.
• Types of wells include flowing, beam pump (with electronic pump-off controller), plunger lift, water injection, and water disposal.
• Types of facilities include production tank batteries, flowlines, LACT (lease automatic custody transfer) facilities, water injection plants, natural gas compression, cathodic protection and metering devices (electronic gas measurement and others).
• Job is to be performed by employing safe work practices while utilizing acceptable environmental procedures to maximize earnings while minimizing costs on assigned oil and gas producing properties.
• Daily monitoring of multiple well sites by vehicle.
• Test, calibrate and troubleshoot equipment and mechanical problems.
• Perform mandatory paperwork required by customer and regulatory agencies.
• General housekeeping and field maintenance.

You will ensure peak efficiency and reliability of production equipment, support Health, Environment, and Safety processes. The role requires extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, strong technical skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. A successful candidate must have a deep understanding of oil and gas and be capable of troubleshooting various production systems.
