Job summary

Danos, LLC is seeking a Field Lease Operator to support oil and gas production sites in Texas. The role focuses on routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and safe operation of equipment, ensuring facilities meet environmental and safety standards, and coordinating with operations teams.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of Lease Operator experience, a high school diploma or GED, a valid Texas driver license, and the ability to work outdoors in field conditions.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Lease Operator experience is required.
• High School Diploma or GED required; college degree or technical training preferred.
• Valid US Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Non-scheduled after-hours callouts may occur.
• Operate wells including flowing, beam pump and other equipment.
• Monitor production facilities such as tanks, LACT, water injection or disposal systems.
• Test, calibrate and troubleshoot equipment.
• Complete mandatory paperwork for customer and regulatory agencies.
• Perform field housekeeping and general maintenance.

Overview

Supports field operations by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of oil and gas production equipment.This role is responsible for ensuring production facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with clients operational, environmental, and safety standards. The position requires strong technical skills, the ability to work independently in a field environment, and effective coordination with operations and maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Non-scheduled callouts outside normal business hours can beexpected.
• Types of wells include flowing, beam pump (withelectronicpump-off controller), plunger lift, waterinjection,and waterdisposal.
• Types of facilities include production tank batteries, flowlines, LACT (lease automatic custody transfer) facilities, water injection plants, natural gas compression, cathodicprotectionand metering devices (electronic gas measurement and others).
• Jobis to perfomed byemploying safe work practices whileutilizingacceptable environmental procedures to maximize earnings while minimizing costs on assigned oil and gas producingproperties.
• Daily monitoring of multiple well sites by vehicle.
• Test, calibrate and troubleshoot equipment and mechanicalproblems.
• Perform mandatory paperwork required by customer and regulatoryagencies.
• General housekeeping and field maintenance.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Lease Operator experience required.
• High School Diplomaor GED required. College Degree or Technical training preferred.
• Valid US Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
• Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug, hair follicle, MVR, agility and fit for duty.
• PhysicalRequirements - Must be able to lift 40 lbs., climb ladders and stairs. Walking, bending stooping is required. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment. Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms.
• Understanding of importance of environmental and safe work practices.
