Job summary

Doble Engineering Company in Houston, TX, seeks a Laboratory Sample Coordinator to manage incoming transformer oil samples, log them in the LIMS, and move them into the testing workflow. You will assemble sampling kits, track outbound shipments, and ensure accurate records while coordinating with the Laboratory Manager.

The role requires at least 1 year in a lab/shipping environment, strong organization, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a laboratory, warehouse or shipping role with admin duties.
• Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven, fast-paced team environment.
• Proficient with MS Office and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Enter incoming oil sample orders into LIMS.
• Process purchase orders for testing and shipping materials.
• Organize and maintain sample shelves.
• Facilitate and expedite the flow of samples into the lab for processing.
• Create and affix sample identifications on containers.
• Clean used sampling syringes and reassemble for reuse.
• Assemble sampling kits and ship to customers upon request.
• Adhere to all safety and security policies and procedures.
• Support the Laboratory Manager and team with related duties.
