RecruitPod Global LLC in Midland, TX is seeking a detail-oriented Oil & Gas Title Attorney to join our Texas team, focusing on South Texas and Permian Basin.

Ideal candidate has a JD, Texas bar, 1+ year title opinion drafting, and deep knowledge of oil & gas title examination, ownership analysis, and related documents. Hybrid/remote options available; full-time role with billable expectations.

Qualifications

• JD degree and active bar license in Texas.
• Minimum 1 year drafting title opinions on Texas lands.
• Experience with division orders and unit ownerships helpful.
• Strong knowledge of oil & gas title examination and related docs.
• Commitment to ethics and client confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct title examinations to determine ownership for oil and gas properties.
• Draft title opinions identifying defects, liens, and issues affecting ownership.
• Perform due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
• Draft and negotiate leases, operating agreements, and purchase agreements.
• Advise clients on risks and strategies to mitigate regulatory issues.
• Collaborate with litigation attorneys as needed.
