Jobot is seeking an experienced Oil & Gas Title Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will conduct title examinations, prepare opinions, and advise clients on title matters for oil and gas properties in Texas.

Candidates must have a JD, TX license, and 3+ years of title opinion experience; we offer competitive pay, a hybrid schedule, and growth toward shareholder status.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice in TX.
• 3+ years of oil & gas title opinion experience.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Conduct thorough title examinations for oil and gas properties, including deeds, leases, probate documents.
• Prepare title opinions and curative documents based on findings from title examinations.
• Perform due diligence for acquisitions and divestitures, including review of transaction documents.
• Provide legal counsel on leasehold, royalty interests, pooling and unitization, and title defects.
