This position reports to

Sales Manager, West Region

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for selling products, systems, and services within a designated market or division, aligned with the division strategy. You will aim to achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to promote sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will identify and develop new sales opportunities.

The work model for this role is remote, contributing to the Process Automation Measurement & Analytics division in Houston, TX.

You will mainly be accountable for:

  1. Communicating delivery times, payments, and terms to customers in line with ABB's offerings and strategy.
  2. Ensuring effective marketing activities and communicating value propositions to customers.
  3. Identifying and developing new market opportunities.
  4. Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supporting cash collection and project management activities as needed.

Qualifications for the role
  • Associate's degree in technology with 10+ years of instrumentation sales experience through direct or indirect channels, or Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience.
  • Strong competitor knowledge and a passion for selling and winning.
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels within ABB, channel partners, and end users.
  • Solid understanding of instrumentation, level technology, and markets.
  • Must have work authorization to work in the US for ABB.
