Reporting Line

Sales Manager, West Region

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for sales of products, systems, and services within a designated market/division, aligned with the division strategy. You will aim to achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable growth in orders, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will identify and develop new sales opportunities.

The work model for this role is remote, contributing to the Process Automation Measurement & Analytics division in Houston, TX.

Main Responsibilities
  • Communicate with customers regarding delivery times, payments, and terms, aligned with ABB's offerings and strategy.
  • Implement effective marketing activities and communicate value propositions to customers.
  • Identify and develop new market opportunities within the designated area.
  • Manage administrative procedures in sales processes, supporting cash collection and project management activities as needed.
Team Dynamics

You will join a dynamic team within Measurement & Analytics, where you can thrive and contribute effectively.

Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in technology with 10+ years of instrumentation sales experience via direct or indirect channels, or Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience.
  • Strong knowledge of competitors; passion for sales and success.
  • Ability to build relationships at all organizational levels within ABB, channel partners, and end users.
  • Solid understanding of instrumentation, level technology, and related markets.
  • Must have work authorization to work in the US for ABB.
