PERC-eng in Houston, TX is seeking a Civil/Structural engineer for the design of oil and gas pipelines and related facilities. The role covers site development, equipment and piping supports, and coordination with survey, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation teams.

The ideal candidate has an ABET-accredited Civil Engineering degree, 0–5 years of relevant experience, and the ability to work for any US employer. Knowledge of ACI, AISC, API codes and local regulatory requirements is valued.

Competenze

• 0–5 years of experience in project and detailed engineering of oil & gas upstream and/or midstream facilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to work for any US employer.
• Preferred: lead multi-discipline projects and permitting experience.

Mansioni

• Geotechnical investigation coordination and results review.
• Cut / fill / grading plans and drainage design.
• Design site drainage to comply with local authority requirements; coastal TX/LA experience preferred.
• Permit drawing development and sealing for oil & gas facilities and pipelines.
• Pipeline crossings of highways, railroads, water bodies, drainage channels, etc.
• Foundation design for oil and gas equipment and pipelines; structural steel design as a lower priority.
• Prepare engineering reports, design calculations, drawings, and specifications for pipeline projects.
• Visit job sites to evaluate requirements and conditions; interface with multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop permit packages, construction drawings, and contractor specifications.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and meet deadlines across multiple projects.
