PERC Engineering in Houston, TX is seeking a full-time Mechanical Engineer for oil & gas pipelines and facilities. You will design piping systems and equipment, work with ASME/API codes, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities include creating reports, drawings, P&IDs, and vendor reviews; traveling to sites as needed; ensuring projects meet client requirements and standards; strong communication with clients and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of project and detailed engineering experience in oil & gas upstream and/or midstream facilities.
• Ability to read and understand: P&IDs, piping drawings, specifications and related codes and standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others verbally and in writing.
• Must be Able to Work for any US Employer.

Responsabilités

• Prepare engineering reports, design calculations, drawings, and technical specifications related to pipeline and facility design and construction.
• Read and create process flow diagrams and P&IDs.
• Direct and manage the piping design of pipelines and facilities.
• Review vendor drawings for compliance with project specifications.
• Visit job sites to evaluate site, project requirements, and conditions; inspect equipment for compliance.
• Develop construction drawing packages and contractor specifications for oil and gas pipeline and facility projects.
