Job summary

HR Works is seeking an Industrial Oil and Gas Operation and Maintenance Supervisor based in Puerto Rico to oversee maintenance at a client facility serving USVI. You will hire, train, and lead maintenance crews, ensuring reliable, safe operations and continuous upkeep throughout the year.

The role requires strong technical knowledge across instrumentation, piping, electrical, welding, and related trades, plus budgeting, scheduling, and regulatory compliance expertise.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading maintenance teams and supervising technicians.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and safety regs.
• Ability to plan, schedule, and manage maintenance budgets and activities.

Responsibilities

• Inspect facilities and determine maintenance needs.
• Plan yearly inspections and turnarounds.
• Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work.
• Hire and supervise tradesmen during installations or repairs.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot process equipment and electrical/hydraulic systems.
