Jobot is seeking a Field Engineer to support oil, gas, and chemical customers in North Dakota. You’ll partner with the sales team to design fluid system solutions, engage in field work, and provide training and inventory support, balancing engineering with customer interaction.

The role blends half engineering, a quarter field work, and a quarter training/stocking activities, with strong growth potential and a path toward certification. ND flexibility and state travel are expected.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical preferred) and related background.
• 4–7 years in project, manufacturing, production, or similar engineering roles; strong candidates with 2+ years and degree considered.
• Oil, gas, or chemical industry experience is required.
• Customer-facing experience in sales, service, or field engineering is strongly preferred.
• CAD/SolidWorks experience is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Serve on the oil, gas, and chemical market team, building deep knowledge of customer applications, needs, and industry trends.
• Collaborate with sales on customer calls, recommend application-specific solutions, and support all stages of the sales cycle.
• Lead customer projects from concept to completion, including P&ID development, component selection, and confirming form, fit, and function.
• Lead onsite service work across the state, spotting system improvement opportunities and delivering technical value.
• Help customers with inventory programs, including component selection and stocking.
• Deliver technical presentations and hands‑on training to customers and prospects.
• Contribute to market team sales strategy, using application knowledge to shape planning and uncover new business.
• Provide technical support, product guidance, and troubleshooting to customer service, sales, and customers.
• Review technical documents, drawings, and fabrication requirements to confirm solutions meet specifications.
• Manage several projects at once, collaborate on project handoffs, and review teammates’ work.
• Earn and maintain a manufacturer‑backed field engineering certification.
