Job summary

Jobot seeks a Field Engineer to support North Dakota oil, gas and chemical customers. You will design fluid system solutions, partner with sales, and manage projects from concept to delivery with field and training duties. Expect a balanced mix of engineering, fieldwork, and customer training.

Required is a mechanical engineering degree with 4–7 years in related roles and industry experience. Travel within North Dakota is expected; strong communication and independent work style are essential

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical preferred).
• 4–7 years in project, manufacturing, production, or similar engineering roles.
• Oil, gas, or chemical industry experience is required.
• Customer-facing experience in sales, service, or field engineering is preferred.
• Strong independence and self-motivation.

Responsibilities

• Serve on the oil, gas, and chemical market team, building deep knowledge of applications and industry trends.
• Collaborate with sales on customer calls, recommend solutions, and support the sales cycle.
• Lead customer projects from concept to completion, including P&ID development and component selection.
• Lead onsite field service work across the state with engineering, sales, and service support.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations and hands-on training to customers.
