Job summary

Enscicon Corporation is seeking a Controls & Automation Specialist for oil & gas projects. The role blends office engineering with hands-on field support, including on-site commissioning and travel about half the time.

Ideal candidates have hands-on industrial controls and PLC experience (Allen-Bradley), DeltaV or similar DCS, and SCADA/HMI familiarity. Experience in oil & gas projects and ability to work with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with industrial controls, automation, PLC programming and system integration.
Experience programming and troubleshooting Allen-Bradley PLCs.
DeltaV or similar DCS experience is highly desirable.
Oil & gas industry project experience and field startup/commissioning.

Responsibilities

Develop, program, configure, and troubleshoot industrial control and automation systems.
Support DeltaV DCS programming, configuration, and integration.
Assist automation projects at oil & gas facilities (midstream and downstream).
Perform system integration, testing, and modifications.
Participate in FAT/SAT activities, system startup and on-site commissioning.
Troubleshoot control systems and instrumentation in the field.
Assist SCADA/HMI development and configuration (Ignition).
Collaborate with engineering teams, PMs, clients, and field personnel.
Travel to client/project sites ~50% of the time with travel accommodations provided.
