Job summary

Robert E. Mason & Associates, Inc. seeks an Automation Engineer to contribute to our Project Execution Team.

The role focuses on design, delivery, and commissioning of DeltaV-based process control systems for industrial customers, including lifecycle support and staff augmentation. The successful candidate will implement control strategies, develop design documentation, and assist with FAT/SAT, startup, and commissioning at customer sites.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a team.
• Self-directed, detail-oriented, reliable.
• U.S. citizen with valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Implement DeltaV control strategies interfacing valves and pumps in plant environment.
• Develop system design documentation for continuous and batch processes.
• Support FATs/SATs and site start-up/commissioning.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and device bus issues.
• Configure wireless field networks and DeltaV Historian integration (OSI PI).
• Develop custom reports for plant maintenance and operations.
• Model processes using Mynah MiMic and DeltaV software.
• Work independently on-site at customer location.
