Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise a staff of professional accountants and ensure timely, accurate recording of transactions.
• Oversee the monthly accounting close, invoicing of contractual and/or physical gas or oil.
• Collaborate with Manager to set goals and monitor metrics; coach staff on performance.
• Monitor internal controls and ensure SOX compliance; approve significant journal entries.
• Coordinate with IT and other units to implement system upgrades and improvements.
