Job summary

Copeland is seeking a Centrifugal Assembler to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble and inspect components for commercial air conditioning systems, following precise drawings and specifications.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, steady coordination, and the ability to operate measuring gauges and assembly equipment. You will work Fri-Sun, 5:00am-5:30pm, with safety as a top priority and opportunities to grow skilled manufacturing capabilities within a global climate

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Coordination and manual dexterity for fine movements.
• Experience with inspection gauges (Calipers, Micrometers, Indicators, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex drawings/specifications.
• Knowledge of quality control measures and procedures.
• Proactive problem solver willing to learn and take on challenges.
• Personal computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble mechanical and electrical components per drawings and specifications.
• Inspect parts and assemblies for defects and ensure quality standards.
• Use measuring devices and assembly/testing equipment to meet specifications.
• Utilize power tools, torque wrenches, and automated equipment efficiently.
• Move products using lifts, hoists and wheeled equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and keep work areas organized and clean.
• Read part details and drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Operate assembly robot.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with OSHA standards and company processes.
