Take 5 Oil Change in the United States is hiring an Assistant Shop Manager. This role focuses on customer service, leadership on the shop floor, and daily operations, with paid training to teach the Take 5 way.

You will step in for the Shop Manager when needed, supervise crew, manage inventory, and support opening/closing procedures to ensure smooth service delivery. No prior management experience required; training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is valued
• Ability to lead a team on the shop floor
• Willingness to train and learn Take 5 processes
• Capable of handling cash and payments

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and process payment for services performed
• Assume the responsibility and authority of the Shop Manager in the Shop Manager's absence
• Run the floor, ensure employees are where they need to be and customers are satisfied
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Assist with inventory counting and adjustments
• Train new employees in the Take 5 way
• Drain motor oil, change oil filters, and perform other light auto services
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor
• Maintain shop, office, and bathroom cleanliness
