Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager in Arlington to support the Shop Manager in daily operations and team development. You’ll help deliver fast, friendly service, coach staff, and ensure safety and quality standards are met in a busy shop environment.

You will step up as Manager on Duty as needed, drive operational efficiency, and contribute to a positive customer experience while advancing in a company that promotes internal growth and hands-on training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to following and maintaining facility and safety control policies and practices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Manager on Duty when needed by coordinating workflow and helping the team deliver safe, efficient, high-quality service.
• Model fast, friendly customer service, respond to customer needs, and resolve concerns professionally.
• Ensure services are completed accurately and consistently while reinforcing company procedures, safety requirements, and service standards.
• Train new team members, provide real-time coaching and feedback, reinforce expectations, and recognize strong performance.
• Perform opening and closing procedures and assist with daily inventory counts and adjustments.
