Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change in Arlington, TX is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to lead daily shop operations. Paid training on the Take 5 process helps you manage a location, handle oil changes, and supervise crew members to ensure smooth workflow.

You can advance quickly through the Take 5 path; many leaders start as crew or ASM. Earn $15.00-$18.00 per hour with weekly bonuses, plus benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow pit safely.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Willingness to work in hot/cold weather and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and process payments for services performed.
• Assume the Shop Manager's responsibilities in their absence.
• Run the floor to supervise staff and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with counting and adjusting inventory.
• Train new employees in Take 5 procedures.
• Drain motor oil, change oil filters, and perform other light auto services as needed.
• Restock and maintain inventory levels; keep shop and offices clean.
