Job summary

MasTec Utility Services is seeking an OHE Lineman A in Rural Hall, NC to assist Journeyman Lineman and the Foreman while training and learning the trade. You will work on construction and maintenance of poles, power lines, auxiliary facilities, and equipment for the distribution of electricity.

This role supports the Line team and collaborates with crew members. This position requires a High School diploma, 3 years of lineman experience, and a valid Class A CDL.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or equivalent.
• 3 years of lineman experience.
• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• OSHA 10 Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain, and inspect transmission and distribution of electrical or power lines.
• Provide technical skills for operation and maintenance of reliable electrical services for the consumer.
• Assist in connecting/disconnecting, installing/removing, and transferring electrical devices on customer facilities.
