Job summary

Hunter Dentistry, part of Heartland Dental, is seeking a Dental Assistant to join a collaborative team. You will support patient care with x-ray processing, chair-side assistance, and efficient use of Dentrix for scheduling and records.

Ideal candidates will have dental assistant and x-ray certifications, strong communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting while upholding HIPAA requirements. Monday–Thursday, 7a–5p schedule offered.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology is required.
• Excellent communication and strong organizational skills are essential.
• If required by state law, dental assistant and/or x-ray certification must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and support comfort and education during treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments.
• Provide chair-side assistance during procedures with four-handed dentistry.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Maintain safety protocols and manage supplies and inventory.
