Heartland Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant for Plymouth Meeting Family Dental to join a thriving practice. The role requires x-ray certification and involves four-handed dentistry, patient education, and maintaining safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must be x-ray certified and able to obtain any state-required certifications.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric dental office.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection responsibilities will apply.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients, ensuring comfort and educating them throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to support quality care.
• Take and process X-rays and other diagnostics (iTero, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) to dentists.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols ( OSHA & CDC).
• Manage supplies and place orders; support office workflows.
