Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Transport Driver to support client mobility in mental health settings. The role emphasizes safe driving, route coordination with dispatch, and meticulous data entry into Samsara. You’ll interact professionally with facility staff, clients, and families, while maintaining logs and reporting to a Field Supervisor.

The ideal candidate is at least 26, with a clean record, valid license, and strong English communication. Nights/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Excellent driving record and valid license.
• Proficient in English (oral and written); active listener.
• Tech-savvy with data entry experience.
• Ability to work nights and weekends with flexible hours.
• Experience in dispatch, logistics, or related fields is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Long- and short-distance driving, coordinating routes with dispatchers.
• Retrieve and secure clients and personal belongings for trips.
• Maintain detailed logs of working hours per policy, submit monthly.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, and violations promptly.
• Perform daily vehicle maintenance (refueling, cleaning, supplies).
• Enter data into Samsara system and submit monthly reports.
• Collaborate with operations staff to update facility contacts.
• Strive to reduce transport arrival times under 2 hours.

The Transport Driver plays a key role in our work of transporting clients to needed care within and outside our contracted area. They are often the only in-person representative of the company, providing excellent customer service to facility staff, clients and family members in a mental health setting.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLong- and short-distance driving, coordinating routes and schedules with dispatchers.Retrieve and secure clients and personal belongings for trip to destination facility.Maintain detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and company policies, submitting monthly to Field Supervisor.Ensure mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected promptly, reporting defects, accidents, and violations immediately.Perform daily maintenance of vehicle (refueling, cleaning, snacks/water, etc.)Interact with facility staff, clients, and family members in a professional manner.Address problems and create solutions, collaborating with Dispatcher and elevating problems to Field Supervisor when necessary.Enter data into Samsara system, maintain logs of calls, incidents, miles driven and more, submitting reports monthly to Field Supervisor.Work collaboratively with Director of Operations and Field Supervisors to update and maintain a list of facility contacts.Drive excellence by creating efficiencies that will reduce the arrival time for transports (under the 2-hour maximum).
