Job DetailsJob Location: Ogallala - Ogallala, NE 69153Position Type: Full TimeThe Transport Driver plays a key role in our work of transporting clients to needed care within and outside our contracted area. They are often the only in-person representative of the company, providing excellent customer service to facility staff, clients and family members in a mental health setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Long- and short-distance driving, coordinating routes and schedules with dispatchers.
• Retrieve and secure clients and personal belongings for trip to destination facility.
• Maintain detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and company policies, submitting monthly to Field Supervisor.
• Ensure mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected promptly, reporting defects, accidents, and violations immediately.
• Perform daily maintenance of vehicle (refueling, cleaning, snacks/water, etc.)
• Interact with facility staff, clients, and family members in a professional manner.
• Address problems and create solutions, collaborating with Dispatcher and elevating problems to Field Supervisor when necessary.
• Enter data into Samsara system, maintain logs of calls, incidents, miles driven and more, submitting reports monthly to Field Supervisor.
• Work collaboratively with Director of Operations and Field Supervisors to update and maintain a list of facility contacts.
• Drive excellence by creating efficiencies that will reduce the arrival time for transports (under the 2-hour maximum). Report all overages to Field Supervisor.

Qualifications
