Job summary

McKinstry is looking for a Manufacturing Process Engineer to support our growing Offsite Manufacturing division. The Manufacturing Process Engineer is a multi-functional technical role responsible for ensuring products are designed, built, and scaled efficiently from prototype through high-volume production.

This role provides hands-on shop floor support and drives lean/automation improvements across the process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• 2–5 years in manufacturing/process/industrialization engineering.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and DfMA/DfA.
• Hands-on fabrication/assembly experience.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing process development, optimization, and improvement.
• Provide manufacturing support and troubleshooting on the shop floor.
• Develop prototypes and drive industrialization for new products.
• Ensure quality assurance and testing across processes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and generate reports.
• Maintain proper record controls to support QMS/ISO9001.
