Job summary

McKinstry is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to support the Offsite Manufacturing division. You will ensure products move from prototype to high-volume production, provide hands-on shop floor support, and drive lean and automation improvements across facilities.

You will collaborate cross-functionally to industrialize new products and ensure design-for-manufacture readiness. The role emphasizes modular production, safe processes, and effective transition from design to production, with

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing/process/industrialization engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering. Advanced degree or certifications preferred.
• Strong knowledge of DfMA/DfA, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement methods.
• Hands-on experience with fabrication and assembly (sheet metal, welding, piping, HVAC, or electrical).
• Proficiency in CAD/PLM systems (Solidworks, Revit, DriveWorks, PDM/PLM).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Stratus or other MES or manufacturing workflow systems.
