Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking an Instrumentation Coordinator for the Offsite Sterile Supply team. You will coordinate daily operations between the Operating Rooms and Sterile Processing, ensuring prepared, sterilized instruments are available for surgeries across the enterprise.

Responsibilities include assembling case carts, decontaminating, sterilizing, and standardizing instrument trays, and serving as a clinical liaison across multiple hospital sites.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; CRCST or CSPDT certification required within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year of relevant experience required; 2-4 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities between Operating Room and Sterile Processing to facilitate efficient case flow.
• Oversee case cart assembly, decontamination, sterilization/high level disinfection of reprocessed inventory.
• Serve as clinical liaison across Enterprise to track and allocate sterilized instrumentation.
• Order, procure and organize instrument trays on a global level to service the Enterprise.
• Support projects and process improvements and promote customer service and patient satisfaction.
