Job summary

Operation Kindness Humane Society in Dallas, TX, seeks an Offsite Adoptions Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the Off-Site Adoptions Department, including the Everyday Adoption Center and Retail Adoption Program. This role supervises staff and volunteers, coordinates with partners, and ensures a welcoming adoption experience.

You will lead operations, maintain compliance, and support a bias-free process while collaborating with Client Services, Behavior, Medical, and Volunteer teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of supervisory or leadership experience is required.
• Minimum 1 year of animal care experience or comparable experience.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience or comparable experience.
• Minimum 6 months of animal adoption counseling experience or comparable experience.
• Spanish speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of Off-Site Adoptions Department, including EAC and Retail Adoption Program.
• Supervise, coach, train, and support staff and volunteers; manage onboarding/offboarding and performance.
• Maintain relationships with retail and community partners; ensure positive adoption experience.
• Coordinate animal movement between shelter, EAC, and off-site locations.
• Ensure adoption contracts and documentation are completed and entered accurately in systems.
