Job summary

LifeLine Animal Project seeks an Adoption Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the adoption process and lead the staff. Reporting to the Client Services Manager, you will ensure efficient procedures, oversee coverage, and foster a supportive environment for staff and adopters.

Key duties include supervising staff, guiding onboarding, coordinating events, and maintaining accurate records while upholding LifeLine’s values and compassionate care for animals.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience of at least one year.
• Two or more years of experience in animal care or sheltering.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and varying shifts.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and contribute to a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support adoption staff and provide mentorship.
• Oversee the adoption process from inquiry to finalization.
• Ensure coverage, monitor attendance and address policy violations.
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings for feedback and development.
• Coordinate events, outreach, and collaboration with other departments.
