Siemens Gamesa is seeking an offshore wind turbine technician to service, maintain, and repair Direct Drive turbines across the Coastal Virginia project, with up to 80% travel and offshore shifts (2 weeks on, 2 weeks off). You will lead offshore service activities, prioritize safety, and work in a small team on SOV platforms, reporting incidents and ensuring high first-time fix rates and availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degrees preferred.
• Experience in wind maintenance or troubleshooting (military/industrial/automotive acceptable).
• Able to work at heights and in confined spaces; weight limit 265 lb.
• Must pass medical exam to verify ability to perform job functions.

Responsabilités

• Offshore service, maintenance, and troubleshooting on wind turbines.
• Provide safety leadership on SOV, turbine sites, and wind farm; report incidents.
• Deliver excellent service and work safely in a two-person team.
• Flexible schedule; analyze and resolve issues independently.
