Job summary

Siemens Gamesa, based in Orlando, Florida, seeks an Offshore Commissioning Technician to join a permanently employed team responsible for commissioning offshore wind projects. You will support turbine installation, perform commissioning tasks, and ensure safe operations while training team members in challenging offshore environments.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years of commissioning experience, travel up to 100% across the US, Canada, and internationally, and a strong commitment to health

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of commissioning experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of wind turbine installation activities including slinging, signaling, mechanical completion, retrofit, and snagging work.

Responsibilities

• Perform, supervise, and ensure safe execution of all phases of wind turbine installation and commissioning activities.
• Prepare transition pieces, tools, equipment, and components during loadout and installation, while supporting punch list closure and project completion activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and logbooks, while training and mentoring colleagues and third-party personnel on site.
