Job summary

Gulf Island in Houma, Louisiana, is seeking an Offshore Scaffold Builder to support steel structure fabrication. You will erect and dismantle scaffolding, fit pipes and braces, and position planks while following safety procedures and ISO/QC standards.

The role requires 2+ years in offshore scaffold building, effective communication, and the ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen. A valid TWIC card and US eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Standing, walking, climbing and lifting are required.
• Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Erect and dismantle scaffolding to provide safe work platforms.
• Fit together steel pipe, support braces and clamps.
• Lift and position scaffolding, bolts, pipe and planks.
• Use various hand tools in daily tasks.
• Perform duties safely per procedures and ISO/QC standards.
