Job summary

Gulf Island LLC is seeking an Offshore Scaffold Builder in Houma, LA. The role involves erecting and dismantling scaffolding to provide safe work platforms and supporting steel fabrication according to ISO/QC standards.

Essential duties include assembling pipes, braces, clamps, and lifting scaffolding while using hand tools. Candidates must have offshore scaffolding experience, pass physical/drug tests, background checks, and hold a valid TWIC card. Company benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years offshore scaffold building experience.
• Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Must pass a background check and have a valid TWIC card.

Responsibilities

• Erect and dismantle scaffolding to provide safe work platforms.
• Fit together steel pipe, support braces and clamps.
• Lift and position scaffolding, bolts pipe and places planks.
• Use various hand tools.
• Perform all duties in a safe manner and in accordance with operating procedures.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.
