Job summary

Gulf Island is seeking Offshore Scaffold Builders to join their team in Houma, Louisiana. These professionals will be responsible for erecting and dismantling scaffolding to support steel structure fabrication in offshore environments.

The ideal candidates are safety-focused, experienced in offshore scaffolding, and able to work in challenging environmental conditions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in offshore scaffold building.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Must pass a background check.
• Valid TWIC card.
• Physical ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally 50-75 pounds.
• Ability to stand, sit, walk, stoop, kneel, climb, and balance.
