Gulf Island in Houma, Louisiana, is seeking an Offshore Scaffold Builder to support steel structure fabrication. You will erect and dismantle scaffolding, fit pipes and braces, and position planks while following safety procedures and ISO/QC standards.
The role requires 2+ years in offshore scaffold building, effective communication, and the ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen. A valid TWIC card and US eligibility are required.
The Offshore Scaffold Builder performs assigned scaffolding work in support of steel structure fabrication, compliance with job specifications and accordance with scaffolding procedures and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) / Quality Control (QC) program standards.
Individuals will be required to work in changes of temperature, hot, cold, humid, wet, and dry conditions, dust, mud, etc.
