Job summary

Gulf Island LLC in Houma, Louisiana seeks an Offshore Rope Access Level I Combo Welder to supervise, plan, and execute rope access operations on offshore platforms. Responsibilities include inspections, welding, blasting, painting, rigging, and coordinating with other departments under supervision.

The role requires 1+ year rope access Level I experience, 2+ years offshore welding, and an active SPRAT or IRATA Level I certification. TWIC, drug screen, and background check are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years rope access Level I experience.
• 2+ years offshore welding experience.
• Active SPRAT or IRATA Level I certification.
• Background check and pre-employment physical.
• Must pass drug screen and TWIC card required.

Responsibilities

• Lead rope access inspections and weld tasks on offshore platforms.
• Develop and implement rope access work plans and risk assessments.
• Ensure safety procedures, fall protection, and on-site protocols are followed.
• Coordinate with other departments to align with project objectives.
• Prepare detailed reports and maintain equipment and inventory records.
