Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Rope Access Level I Technician to perform rope-access visual inspections under supervision in Houma, LA and offshore facilities in the Gulf of Mexico. Role supports Industry Services with engineers, requiring reliable transportation to the office and court-ready documentation of NDE data.

Candidates must hold SPRAT/IRATA Level I, have TWIC, and a driver’s license, with ASNT Level II preferred. Proactive communication and MS Office proficiency are expected.

Qualifications

• Must have SPRAT/IRATA Level I certification.
• ASNT Level II certification preferred.
• TWIC card required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to provide clear, technical guidance to technicians and subcontractors.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues in the field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain climbing logbook per SPRAT/IRATA guidelines.
• Prepare NDE reports and document data clearly and timely.
• Interface with clients on rope access and NDE procedures.
• Maintain open communication with coworkers, clients, and subcontractors.
• Organize and report test results for data processing.
• Follow advancements in NDE/Rope Access industries.
