Occidental Petroleum Corporation is seeking a Reliability Engineer for offshore operations in the Woodlands area. The role focuses on improving safety, reliability, availability, and performance of offshore production and support systems, collaborating with multiple teams to reduce failures and deferment.

You will lead RCFA investigations, optimize maintenance strategies, and support asset-integrity and risk programs while leveraging SAP PM and CMMS for data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Marine, Reliability, or a related engineering discipline.
• 5–10 years of offshore oil and gas, petrochemical, energy, or comparable industrial experience.
• Experience applying reliability engineering methodologies, RCFA, and maintenance-optimization practices.
• Working knowledge of rotating and fixed equipment systems.
• Proficiency with SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) or a comparable CMMS.

Responsabilités

• Lead reliability engineering for offshore operations to improve safety, reliability, availability, and performance of assets.
• Perform RCFA investigations for significant failures and outages.
• Develop corrective actions and reliability improvement plans with progress tracking.
• Optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs using risk and operating context.
• Support risk assessments, asset integrity programs, and compliance with standards.
