Job summary

FPC Franchise in the greater New Orleans area seeks an experienced Reliability Engineer to support mechanical reliability, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement across the plant.

You will lead RCAs, analyze data, develop corrective actions, and support safety and process safety management for piping, valves, boilers, and related equipment.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5+ years in industrial manufacturing, with API certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; 5+ years in industrial manufacturing.
• Experience with reliability engineering, preventive maintenance, failure analysis, and asset management.
• API 510, 570, or 653 certification preferred.
• Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• U.S. citizen or green card holder.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve the plant's PM and mechanical reliability programs to reduce downtime and improve equipment performance.
• Lead RCAs and develop corrective actions to prevent recurring equipment failures.
• Analyze reliability and equipment data to identify trends, improve performance, and support asset reliability strategies.
• Develop engineering solutions for recurring equipment and operational issues impacting safety, quality, cost, and production.
• Support Process Safety Management (PSM) compliance, equipment specifications, repair procedures, and maintenance training involving piping, valves, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, boilers, and related equipment.
