Job summary

Acadian Contractors, Inc. seeks Offshore Welders to join its Biloxi, MS team. The role involves welding piping and structural components in offshore environments, with emphasis on safety and efficiency in challenging conditions.

Ideal candidates bring offshore experience (recent within 4 years) and at least 2 years of welding pipe or structural on carbon steel. Applicants should be able to read blueprints, follow plans, and climb to work from heights as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years offshore experience.
• Recent offshore experience within the last 4 years.
• Minimum of 2 years experience welding pipe and/or structural on carbon steel.
• Ability to layout, fit, install, and assemble according to plans.
• Familiarity with emergency response/escape and water survival procedures on offshore facilities.
• Ability to climb and work from heights.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and ISOs.
