Job summary

Transocean Ltd is seeking an experienced MPD Equipment Specialist for offshore operations. The role focuses on maintaining MPD equipment, leading rig operations, and mentoring the subsea team to uphold safety and efficiency on the platform.

The candidate should have 4+ years in Offshore MPD and relevant training, with a strong emphasis on safety compliance, document control, and collaboration with on-site supervisors and OEMs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Offshore MPD experience and OEM MPD operations training.
• Promotes a safe and respectful work environment with proactive safety culture.
• Participates in safety and operational meetings and training as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair of MPD equipment including surface manifolds, RCD, MPD IRJ components and surface gear (HPU, HCS, reels).
• Lead onsite operation of the MPD IRJ and related components, ensuring policy and procedure compliance.
• Train and mentor subsea department on MPD IRJ tasks and equipment.
• Complete AARs for deployments and liaise with MPD manager.

Education

High School Diploma (U.S.)

Evidence of formal education or relevant craft certificate

Military discharge (preferred for U.S.)

Trade school or university education (preferred)
