Job summary

Transocean Offshore is seeking an experienced MPD Equipment Specialist to lead maintenance and operations of the MPD systems aboard offshore assets near Houston, TX. The role requires hands-on expertise with MPD equipment, safety compliance, and strong teamwork in high-hazard environments.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or higher, well-control certification, and 4+ years of offshore MPD experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher required; trade school/university preferred.
• Must hold a valid Well Control certificate and current medical/vaccination records.
• Minimum 4+ years of offshore MPD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair of MPD equipment including surface manifolds, RCD, MPD IRJ components, and surface equipment such as HPUs.
• Lead onsite operation of the MPD IRJ and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Train and mentor subsea team on MPD IRJ tasks and safety standards.
• Ensure regulatory documents (API 16RCD, API 92S, etc.) are current and up-to-date.
• Supervise MPD equipment inspection and report deficiencies.
