Job summary

New Fortress Energy seeks a Maintenance Supervisor for its offshore FLNG asset, with potential Houston Office responsibilities. The role requires leadership of a multi-disciplinary team to sustain safe, reliable operations and continuous improvement.

You will drive preventive and corrective maintenance, manage work orders, and ensure compliance with safety standards while coordinating with onshore and regional resources. A strong background in oil and gas maintenance is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years at a supervisory level or higher.
• 7+ years experience with surveillance, inspection, troubleshooting, repair and reinstatement of oil and gas equipment.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in a maintenance discipline.
• Knowledge of safety in maintenance execution.
• Experience with predictive maintenance techniques.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary maintenance team (Planner/Schedulers, Controls, Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical).
• Coordinate and assign maintenance services safely, reliably, and cost-effectively.
• Prioritize and execute Work Orders with proper permits and safety.
• Collaborate with discipline resources to ensure task understanding and risk awareness.
• Develop spare parts evaluation and selection processes.
• Support planning to ensure efficient use of personnel and resources.
• Ensure maintenance schedule adherence with focus on safety and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain backlog to target levels and lead on-site for turnarounds/outages.
• Provide timely reports on performance gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Interface with onshore resources to align with regional maintenance initiatives.
