Coalesce Management Consulting is seeking experienced LNG Operations & Maintenance Specialists to support the safe, reliable operation of LNG facilities. This role targets hands-on professionals with LNG processing, cryogenic systems, and natural gas handling expertise.

Responsibilities include startups, shutdowns, commissioning, and continuous improvement, working with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in LNG operations or LNG maintenance in industrial energy environments.

• Familiarity with process control systems and plant monitoring.

Job description

We are seeking experienced LNG Operations & Maintenance Specialists to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of liquefied natural gas facilities. This opportunity is suited for professionals with hands-on experience in LNG processing, natural gas systems, rotating equipment, plant maintenance, and troubleshooting complex industrial processes.

Candidates with backgrounds in LNG terminals, floating LNG (FLNG) facilities, natural gas processing plants, and large-scale energy infrastructure are encouraged to reach out.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day LNG facility operations, equipment reliability, and maintenance activities.
• Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot LNG processing systems, cryogenic equipment, and natural gas handling systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and operational issues involving compressors, pumps, fans, valves, piping systems, and associated process equipment.
• Support maintenance, inspection, repair, and replacement of critical plant equipment.
• Assist with equipment startups, shutdowns, commissioning, and operational readiness activities.
• Identify equipment performance issues, investigate root causes, and recommend corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Support the operation and maintenance of gas treatment, dehydration, refrigeration, liquefaction, and related utility systems, where applicable.
• Work alongside operations, maintenance, engineering, and commissioning teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Follow established operating procedures, process safety requirements, environmental standards, and site-specific safety protocols.
• Assist with maintenance planning, equipment documentation, operating procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Desired Experience & Qualifications

• Previous experience in LNG operations, LNG maintenance, natural gas processing, or a related industrial energy environment.
• Strong working knowledge of LNG processes, cryogenic systems, and natural gas handling equipment.
• Hands-on experience with rotating equipment, including compressors, pumps, fans, and associated mechanical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and process-related issues.
• Familiarity with process control systems, instrumentation, valves, and plant monitoring systems.
• Experience supporting commissioning, startup, shutdown, plant expansion, or operational readiness activities is highly desirable.
• Understanding of industrial safety practices, process safety management, and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams in an operating facility or project environment.

Additional Experience That Stands Out

• Floating LNG (FLNG) or offshore gas facility experience.
• Experience with large-scale LNG liquefaction and regasification systems.
• Background in turbine-driven compressors, gas turbines, cryogenic refrigeration, or other specialized process equipment.
• Experience supporting major maintenance campaigns, facility upgrades, or new-build LNG projects.
